Programmer + Digital Content

After 15 years being at the beck and call of the algorithm, I recently gave up my work as a social media strategist. I now work for various festivals and film organizations as a Programmer, Program Manager, and Content Strategist (for websites and email newsletters).

Year-round, I manage the website and email strategy for the Hamptons International Film Festivaland I am also the year-round Program Manager for Science on Screen®, a grant initiative of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation administered by the Coolidge Corner Theatre. Seasonally I work with the Provincetown Film Festival and the Key West Film Festival in various roles, and am open to others that come along.

On a case-by-case basis, I do still offer customized online training sessions for filmmakers, production teams, film organizations, and distributors. I can help you strategize what makes sense for your project, craft the right voice for your community, identify affinity groups and keywords to target, decide on frequency of posts, etc.

I am also an eagle-eyed proofreader, which is something I oddly enjoy, so please hit me up for all your copyediting needs!

Platforms include WordPressMailChimp, Emma and more. I also develop written content (for websites, newsletters, production notes, etc.) as needed.
